What happened
Cainz recalled part of its Floor Cushion series on June 15, 2026 — four lots (151025, 200126, 100226, 030326) sold from December 15, 2025 to June 10, 2026 — because a sewing needle may have been left inside during manufacturing.
Owners return the cushion to a store or by contact for a refund. Cushions that passed a needle check — marked as checked — are excluded, and Cainz resumed selling the checked stock from August 1, 2026.

Why it happened

- The needle that assembles the product is the object the recall fears — the tool and the hazard are the same steel

The lesson
Every sewn product is one missed detector pass from shipping its own tool. A recall that resumes sales with a checked mark is the factory admitting where the check belonged.
