Cpzzkq's baby lounger: expanded recall for a cushion that can suffocate

The padding can obstruct an infant's breathing; it violates the infant support cushion standard. 2,100 recalled in April, expanded to 2,195 in July.

CetoPMax · 2026-07-30

What happened

Guangzhou Dida Electronic Commerce, dba CetoPMax, sold Cpzzkq baby loungers on Amazon at $30 to $50 — first recalled in April 2026, with the July expansion covering units sold May and June 2026.

The padding can obstruct an infant's breathing — the loungers violate the mandatory safety standard for infant support cushions. On July 30, 2026, the recall expanded to about 2,195 units; no incidents reported.

The remedy is a refund after the owner cuts the cover, foam and pad in half and emails the photos. A product banned by its own standard kept selling through its own recall.

Why it happened

  • The padding can obstruct an infant's breathing — violates the mandatory standard for infant support cushions; first recalled Apr 2026, expanded Jul 30
  • 2,100 units at $30–50 on Amazon, expanded by 195 more sold May–Jun 2026 — units shipped after the first recall joined the second
  • The refund ritual: cut cover, foam and pad in half, photograph, email — the lounger dies by scissors before the refund lives
What it costSuffocation hazard; 2,195 loungers recalled twiceembarrassing

The lesson

The infant support cushion standard exists because loungers suffocated babies — a lounger that fails it, shipped through its own recall, is the standard's whole reason.
