What happened
Hyundai recalled certain 2027 Genesis G80 sedans on July 30, 2026 — the ignition coil ground bolt may be loose, causing an engine misfire or a stall while driving.
Dealers tighten the ground bolt free of charge; owner letters are expected September 27, 2026 (NHTSA campaign 26V493000, Hyundai recall 034G).
