What happened
Week Nine recalled the Week Jacket_N buoyancy aid vest in Korea on July 23, 2026, under a collection-and-exchange order — total buoyancy measured 37.6N at first and 36.2N after 24 hours, above the 35N legal floor but below the 40N the vest's own label promises.
A swimmer loads a vest to its printed number, not to the legal minimum; the gap between them is the margin the label spent. No accident was reported; owners stop use and contact Week Nine for repair, exchange or refund.
The same sweep that caught the company's infant textile at 49 times the lead limit caught this vest under its own promise — two recalls, one season, one supplier discipline.
