Jordan said he would 'pause & step away' to focus on new opportunities 'both professionally and personally.'

Trophy Room built its entire reputation on a close relationship with Jordan Brand, producing a run of sought-after collaborations over ten years — from the Air Jordan 23 in 2016 through the Air Jordan 1 Low 'Home' and 'Away' pack in 2024. The final planned collaboration, an Air Jordan 6 duo slated for Fall 2025, was cancelled and never released; its images were shown only when the closure was announced.

The boutique existed because of one supplier relationship and one famous name. When Marcus Jordan stepped back, there was no independent foundation for the store to stand on.
