What happened
SERO Inc. recalled the iju toddler raincoat in Korea on July 23, 2026 — the clear synthetic-resin brim carries DINP at 50.410%, 504.1 times the 0.1% total phthalate limit.
Phthalates at that load risk liver and kidney damage; the brim is the part a child's hands and mouth meet first. No accident was reported. Owners stop use and contact SERO for repair, exchange or refund.
Half the brim's plastic is the banned softener — the clear part is mostly DINP.
