What happened
Myungsung recalled the VOVA MagSafe power bank VA-111, 10000mAh, in Korea on July 24, 2026 — a battery cell fault can cause abnormal heating during charging or use, and in rare cases smoke or fire.
Owners stop using and charging the pack immediately and apply through the VOVA site for exchange or refund. Sustained heat can burn the hand or the bag the pack rides in.
A MagSafe battery that rides against a phone, in a pocket, close to the skin — heating is the one thing it may not do.
