Wheat and soybean allergens missing from the label of TOMMYBEEFCURRY sold across Saga outlets. Announced 31 Jul 2026; refund or collection.

What happened

Saga Central Ranch recalled TOMMYBEEFCURRY on July 31, 2026 — the allergen labelling omitted wheat and soybean. The curry sold at TOMMYBEEF, CENTRALBEEF, UPLIFT, the Michi-no-Eki Shiroishi roadside station and JONAINORTH in Saga Prefecture.

For an allergic customer, the missing line is the whole product. No incident was reported. The remedy is refund and collection.

A farm shop's curry recalled for the two ingredients the label never mentioned.

Why it happened

  • Wheat and soybean undeclared on the curry's label — recalled Jul 31, 2026; sold at five Saga outlets; refund and collection
  • The allergens are staple ingredients of curry — the label omitted what the recipe assumes
  • The recall's address is the farm gate and the roadside station — the range a local brand can reach

The lesson

An allergen label is checked against the recipe, not the shelf — when wheat and soy are in the pot but not on the box, the omission is the hazard.
