What happened
Health Canada recalled ResinAngel epoxy resin products — six varieties from 32-oz to two-gallon kits of Component A resin and Component B hardener — for improper labelling that could lead to unintentional exposure and serious illness or injury.
1,062 units sold on Amazon in Canada between October 2025 and January 2026. No injury or illness was reported as of April 27, 2026.
The remedy is the bluntest one: throw the kit out according to municipal guidelines.
Why it happened
- Improper labelling on resin and hardener kits — unintentional exposure can mean serious illness or injury; Health Canada recall, Apr 2026
- 1,062 kits sold on Amazon Canada in a four-month window, Oct 2025–Jan 2026, before the label caught up
- The remedy is disposal, not repair — a mislabelled chemical kit cannot be fixed in the home
The lesson
The label is the only safety device in a resin kit — the chemical behaves the same either way. A kit sold without it ships the hazard and keeps the instructions.
