What happened
Jaguar Land Rover recalled 15,535 Land Rover Discovery vehicles (2021–2025) on July 28, 2026 — the tailgate's drain holes are insufficient, so water collects and damages the rearview camera.
Dealers drill additional drain holes in the tailgate trim and inspect or replace the camera as needed, free of charge.
A camera blinded by the rain it was built to watch through — the water had nowhere to go.
