191,000 Aroeve air purifiers recalled after 37 overheating reports

Airova's Aroeve-branded MK04 air purifiers, manufactured before July 2025 and identifiable by serial numbers beginning with "BN", could overheat during normal use, posing a fire and burn hazard.

Airova received 37 reports of units overheating, including one that resulted in a fire; no injuries or property damage had been reported by the time the CPSC recall was issued. About 191,390 units were recalled.

Consumers were told to stop using the affected purifiers immediately and to contact Airova for a remedy — the recall moved on the strength of an overheating pattern alone, without waiting for an injury to confirm the hazard.
