What happened
Yuskin Pharmaceutical recalled its Yuskin Medical Lip Cream on July 30, 2026 — a Class II recall listed with the PMDA — after the formulation was found to separate and the active ingredient to fall below the approved specification.
A medicated lip cream is bought for the ingredient the label promises; the defect is that the tube no longer carries it as approved. No adverse-event reports were cited. Owners return the product with lot and count for a refund per the company's notice.
The Consumer Affairs Agency listed the recall on August 3 — the separation is visible, the shortfall is not.
