What happened
Y K Pte Ltd recalled its 500 g Longan Pulp — produced January 2026, origin China — on March 13, 2026 over undeclared sulphur dioxide, which can cause hives, itchiness, stomach ache, diarrhoea or vomiting in sulphite-intolerant or allergic consumers.
SFA's advice: do not consume if intolerant, contact the point of purchase, seek medical advice if concerned. Every known allergen must be declared on the label.
