What happened
LOGiiX sold the Piston Power 5000 Mag power bank — five colors, models LGX-13302 to LGX-13840 — in Canada from January 2022 to July 2025, about 10,500 units.
The power bank can overheat while charging a device, or while being charged itself — a fire hazard. Four incidents reported in Canada by February 9, 2026, no injuries. Health Canada recalled the line on February 20, 2026.
The remedy is a replacement power bank from LOGiiX after the owner stops using the unit and asks the municipality how to dispose of a lithium battery. The magnetic convenience pack joins the season of burning cells.

The lesson
