What happened
George J. Howe Co. recalled its roasted and salted sunflower seeds — 9.5 oz tubs and 11 oz lightly salted and no-salt pouches — over undeclared cashew, a tree-nut allergen. The products sold through retail, foodservice, specialty, concession and airport channels in Florida and multiple other states.
Consumers with a cashew allergy should not consume them; the recall lists best-by dates from July to December 2026.
