What happened
Hong Kong Baojia International, dba Enhomee-Direct, sold the EnHomee 15-drawer 51-inch dresser — metal frame, fabric drawers, 44.8 pounds — on Amazon at about $140 from August 2024 to April 2026, about 12,800 units.
Unanchored, the tall narrow tower is unstable and can tip over and trap a child — it violates the mandatory safety standard for clothing storage units required by the STURDY Act. The CPSC recalled the line on July 30, 2026; no incidents reported.
The remedy is a refund after the owner disposes of the dresser and emails a photo proving disposal. The STURDY Act exists because dressers killed children; this one shipped two years past it.
