Designer Mario Dice's Milan company was wound up over unpaid debts

Mario Dice is a Milan-based fashion designer born in 1978 who launched his eponymous label in 2007 after a roughly twenty-year career at houses including Calvin Klein, Trussardi, Krizia, Gattinoni and Philosophy. He rose to wider fame dressing pop and TV personalities such as Annalisa, Emma Marrone and Virginia Raffaele, and showed at Milan Fashion Week and Paris runways.

In mid-February 2026 the Milan court specialising in business crisis and insolvency proceedings declared his company insolvent and ordered it into judicial liquidation ('liquidazione giudiziale'), appointing a curator. The ruling followed a petition by a Campania-based creditor company owed €73,881 that had gone unpaid, plus €2,320 in tax arrears, other unpaid credits emerging from a tax office report, and the company's failure to file accounts. The company had no direct employees.

The petitioning creditor's attempt to recover the money through an attachment ('pignoramento') had proved fruitless, so it turned to the court. The judges concluded the entrepreneur no longer had the financial means to meet his obligations regularly. A hearing to examine claims against the estate was set for 3 June 2026.
