BMSG bet its debut group on 三山凌輝 — three scandals later it became a scandal machine

SKY-HI built the boy group BE:FIRST through the audition show THE FIRST, scouted and produced by his agency BMSG. 三山凌輝 made the final line-up, but only just — during the 2021 final camp he was found staying overnight at talent 山之内すず's home. SKY-HI admitted 'リョウキに対して不信感はありました' yet still asked '覚悟はあるのか' and let him in, a choice the star himself called 温情でのメンバー入り.

The group rode that gamble to popularity, then the sparks flew. In 2023 his relationship with influencer-cum-businesswoman Rちゃん was revealed — he was said to have spent 約1億円 on her, earning the nickname '1億円いただき男子'. In April 2025 the 1億円貢がせ結婚詐欺疑惑 blew up. On 25 May 2025 he announced he was leaving the agency, on 5 July suspending BE:FIRST activities, on 29 August marrying actress 趣里, and on 8 November officially leaving the group.

BMSG was already shaking. edhiii boi, a THE FIRST contestant who debuted in 2022, was given an indefinite activity suspension for compliance violations on 2 September 2025; trainee REN was suspended for the same reason on 21 July 2026. Three scandals in under a year had fans calling BMSG '不祥事ばかり目立つ事務所'.

Five days before REN's suspension was announced, on 22 July 2026 文春オンライン reported that 三山 was having trysts with 元宝塚 actress 花乃まりあ during the musical 愛の不時着 — both were married, both agencies apologised. By 31 July the industry was already re-examining his bookings: in a compliance-conscious era, 不倫 is called a 重大リスク, and 起用見送り continued to mount.
