Wago's TOP JOB S block: a misstamped spring that can burn a board

An incorrectly stamped spring can overheat at the contact point — serious fire and explosion risk. UK recall 28 May 2026 (PSD 2507-0107); withdrawn from users.

WAGO · 2026-05-28

怎么回事

Wago Limited recalled the TOP JOB S terminal block 2507-0107 — block types TOPJOB S 2204, 2104 and 2216 — on May 28, 2026, UK PSD case 2507-0107. WAGO is headquartered in Minden, Germany.

The blocks carry an incorrectly stamped spring that can heat at the contact point — thermal damage, and a serious risk of fire and explosion where the blocks are wired into panels and machines.

The product has been recalled from end users by Wago Limited. A spring stamped wrong at the factory is a fire waiting in someone else's wall.

为什么会这样

  • An incorrectly stamped spring can overheat at the contact point — serious risk of fire and explosion; UK recall May 28, 2026, PSD 2507-0107
  • Terminal blocks sit inside panels and machines — the hazard is wired into installations that are hard to open and easy to forget
  • The recall runs from Wago to the end user directly — the component maker reaches past the panel builder to the wall
代价Serious fire risk; block withdrawn from users代价高昂

教训

A terminal block is a promise that the joint holds — a misstamped spring breaks it in the one place nobody can see, and the recall travels the whole chain backwards to reach it.
