怎么回事
River Country opened on 20 June 1976 as Walt Disney World's first water park: a rustic, old-fashioned swimming hole fed by a dammed, filtered inlet of Bay Lake. For 25 summers it was a fixture of the resort.
It was overtaken from within: Typhoon Lagoon in 1989 and Blizzard Beach in 1995 were bigger, newer and more profitable. When tourism slumped after the September 2001 attacks, River Country closed on 2 November 2001 for what was announced as seasonal refurbishment — and was never reopened. The permanent closure was confirmed in 2005.
The park then sat abandoned and overgrown for nearly two decades, one of Disney's strangest relics, before demolition in the late 2010s cleared the site.
